Here is a concept art of the new T-face that is floating around the internet claiming to be a leaked picture from Warner Bros:
Here is what TwoFace looked like in Batman The Long Halloween, which is what the Dark Knight is mostly based on:
Something that’s always been a constant in Two-Face portrayal has been the widened morbidly cleft lip on his bad side that reveals his teeth – which would cause immense drooling in real life, but who knows, maybe his bad side is dryer in the mouth as part of the accident. Another question on the Two-Face accident science is how could an accident THAT bad that screwed up his flesh so terribly, leave his eye intact and with no noticeable impairment? Well whatever, but back to the stetchy lip thing:
The Tommy Lee Jones version in Batman Forever didn’t attempt this in the make up, so this will be our first live action view of that aspect of the characters appearance.
It’s also disappointing that a pre-TwoFace Harvey Dent wasn’t in Batman Begins so his personal friendship and relationship with Bruce could have been developed more. In the original script of Batman Returns, Billy Dee Williams was to reprise his role as Harvey Dent and make the final turn into Two-Face at the end. Dent was deleted from the script because Burton “didn’t want the film to have connections with the previous Batman film”. No idea why. So instead Christopher Walken filled the part as a new character named Max Shrek who gets a wet eclectic kiss from Catwoman and dies a crispy death instead of a Two-Face birth. I love Walken in the part, but one of the dozens of things that would have made Batman Forever 10 times better would have been a deeper and serious storyline to Two Face like was originally planned.
it was indeed his face, and it was disgusting.
i personally think that two face was portrayed very nicely, but my only problem is, instead of a burn victim, he just looks like a zombie. personally i think it should have had more open spaces in his face, more visible muscle tissue, and a bloodier red-black color. i loved this movie, and i love two face, he is probably my most liked male character in batman, good job! 🙂
That was part of the idea. Test audiances were freaked out by a more subtle, realistic burning and scarring so what was done was the make up was made more over the top and ghastly.
also Like Shrek movies, awesome animation film.
IF WARNER BROS WOULD OF WENT THROUGH WITH THE ORIGINAL CONCEPT FOR TWO-FACE SUCH AS CHRIS WALKEN IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT for part 3 instead of what they did. I did not like part 3 sadly, if Walken or Williams would of played it i would of also liked to see originally keaton for part 3.
