Peculiar Pot Smoking Punk ass Protestors Pepper Sprayed Prudently

This Occupy protesting nonsense is dragging on and accomplishing nothing positive. Shocking… The wests Tahrir moment, it aint. Some are under the false impression that rich people are somehow getting richer in this bad economy despite the number of taxpayers with more than $1 million of income declining from from 400,000 back in 2007 to just 235,000 in 2009. Others are just annoyed that the world isn’t perfect in their estimation so they’re out bitching about anything and everything and feeling super noble about it. Sometimes though, the whole “breaking the law and being a dick about your protests over nothing” thing has consequences and that only makes irresponsible people more outraged that they’re not getting what they want. Tragic.

The only positive thing that’s come out of the Occupy protests has been the silly Amazon product reviews of the pepper spray used in the Davis-spraying. Aside from that it’s just more cause for whining and outrage. Did you know that forcing people to move who refuse to move from property they don’t own is a “military threat”? Oh ya dude. Totally:

“How Could This Happen in America?” Why Police Are Treating Americans Like Military Threats
Why is the armed might of the state, (necessary in waging war against foreign enemies) being applied to domestic policing of local communities and peaceful protests?

Who is gullible enough to fall for this victim-porn propaganda? These protests are often not peaceful – what with the attacking the police, vandalism, vandalism with feces, vandalism with 200 pounds of feces, other mass filth, corpse-filth, diseaseopen drug useoverdoses, rapes and death and all – but even during the peaceful ones, it’s painfully obvious that the whining reaction to them are just whining. Oh no.. you broke laws and got arrested or forcibly moved from a place you weren’t allowed to be. and I’m supposed to feel sympathy for that just because you wanted to be there? This is stupid. That article ends with this paragraph:

“Is this still my country?” That’s been a question from day one, asked by Americans of widely diverging views in response to government crackdowns on protest. Objecting to military violence against protesting citizens may be inherently American. The urge to crack down can look inherently American too.

Don’t people usually die in “military violence”? And yet no one has died in the law enforcement tactics used against these fleabaggers while 7 have died within the Occupy dumps. Lets see.. which is worse? Getting sprayed with something that hurts your eyes in response to your refusal to leave a blockade that has no purpose or meaning? Or dying for participating in a protest that has no purpose or meaning?

I double-dog Dare you to think of something more stupid than this caption^

Police haven’t been shitting on any of the protestors. But the protestors have been shitting on the police.
Police haven’t killed any of the protestors. But the protestors have been killing themselves.
Police haven’t been breaking any of the protestors things to express their political opinions. But the protestors have been costing thousands of dollars in damage to public and private property.
Police haven’t stabbed any of the protestors. But the protestors have been knife attacking themselves.
Police haven’t jerked off in front of any 16 year old girls in the protests but… okay – i’ll give them a pass on this one.

UPDATE: Occupy sympathizer threatens to murder South Carolinas Governor. To date, police have not made any such murder threats in their “military action”.

I don’t understand what the argument against it is. When you tell someone to move and you have the legal authority to do so, wtf are you supposed to do? “Hey, those people are not legally allowed to be occupying that space. it’s not theres, we don’t want them there and they need to leave” – “but… they said no” – “Oh, okay. end of story then. I guess we tried!”. wtf? I don’t think so. They’re lucky all they got was a shot of pepper. Morons.

Although, I’ve also never made a secret of the fact that I don’t understand the Occupy protest as a movement either, and it’s not for lack of investigation. It’s an unorganized collection of whining about nothing specific and has no plan of action other than being annoying as a way to get what they want.

When it first started the most common line I saw was that it was against “Corporate Greed” but no specifics were given on what anyone wanted to do about it. Who exactly is breaking the law or doing something immoral? If the former – why are you not revealing their name to any of the thousands of trial attorneys whose mouths are watering this very second at the thought of taking a Wall Street corrupto-crat down and if it’s the latter then why are you not revealing their names either so people know what it is you’re protesting against and can maybe have some sympathy for your smelly disease riddled public park destroying illegal bongo sessions.

Following a pledge to “stick it to taxpayers“, the cost of this feel-good/accomplish-nothing masturbatory movement to the taxpayers is $10,000 a day or $13 million so far.

Thanks a lot, assholes.

UPDATE: this was posted before the following video surfaced that – SURPRISE – tells you more of what you should have already realized if you weren’t a hippie anti-authority romanticizing fruitcake:

Thanksgiving Table Family Chat Thing

There was some faith and family forum thing going on yesterday and I watch-listened to it – meaning, i had the stream playing on the computer while I did other things. I was mostly bored with it. One super weird thing was the consistently terrible camera work of the streaming video. The wide shots were okay, but every single closeup of a speaking candidate was way off center. I took a bunch of screenshots to illustrate:

Former Senator Rick Santorum said “Gay marriage is wrong” and went on a soapbox speech I didnt at all care fore and furthered my distaste for his awful campaign. I always honor truth regardless of whether I disagree with a person and Santorum has had a lot of smearing go his way so for awhile, when he was still a senator, I thought he was kindov okay. Since he lost his re-election bid in 2006, he hasn’t done anything I’ve seen for me to give him much respect. His performance in the GOP debates has solidified that and this dinner table discussion-whatever-thing was no diff. There was one moment that started out strong when he was talking about his youngest daughter who, according to my calculations of how gustation timing works, was conceived as pity-sex at the time of his re-election loss. She has something similar, but more life threatening than Downs Syndrome and wasnt expected to live this long. The story started out solid about a families determination to overcome a hardship and – BAM – happy ending, motherfkkers, cuz she’s still alive and bringing joy to the world – but he went on too long and it got kindov rambly towards the part where he was talking about how he lied to his wife (his words) that he was dealing with the medical problems in cold and steadfast manner because he needed to be the rock of the family when in reality he was purposefully treating his daughter less-than-human so when he lost her, he wouldn’t be as emotionally effected. The point wasn’t terrible – he was revealing this because he was saying how he fought against partial-birth-abortion (a practice where a baby is pretty much delivered and then – surprise! – guillotined, French Revolution style) in the senate, yet found himself guilty of the same dehumanizing sin with his own daughter – but it just wasn’t delivered as crisply as it should have.

A successfully touching moment was delivered by Herman Cain when he talked about battling and winning the fight against cancer recalling, fighting back tears in his eyes, how he reassured his wife “I can do this” to which his wife replied “WE…can do this”.

Rick Perry went on a “when I gave my life to Jesus Christ” speech (ug) and Michelle Bachmann did a similar “what Jesus wants from us” blah blah thing that pushed me further away from both of them than I already was. Not that you can’t be totally horny for Jesus or whatever and still be a valid candidate – it’s just the pandering. so icky. I’d be just as uncomfortable if they talked about their love of ice cream or golf or any other, admittedly less, but still important passion in their life. Talk about the economy, dammit. Or if you insist on this family, Jesus, children, love and sparkles stuff – at least make this worth my time and say what you plan to do about it in the job you’re trying for.

The only 2 candidates that perk my personal interest in this primary weren’t present here: The two millionaire Mormons, Jon Huntsman and Mitt Romney. They made the right choice in skipping this – though I’m told that Huntsman wasn’t even invited. Mitt spent his time doing something that actually mattered instead – doing a Townhall meeting in New Hampshire. Good for him. Answering questions from voters in a key primary state is a thousand times more important than sitting at a table in a church talking about how important God is to you while you run for a secular government job.

Summary: Cain and Gingrich were the stars and would make an awesome, interesting and respectable ticket if this were 1996.

Newts real line of the evening was when he told the Occupy Wallstreeters to get a job right after taking a bath:

Steve Jobs’ original intention for Pixar

When Steve Jobs bought Pixar from Lucasfilm in 1986, he had no intention of doing animation – he wanted it to make high end computers. Imagine what a different world we’d be in if Pixar was a hardware manufacturer instead of a movie powerhouse…

Jobs focused Pixar almost exclusively on developing and selling the Pixar Image Computer (PIC), which debuted a mere three months after Jobs bought the company. (The product was in development beforehand, but Jobs shut down virtually every Pixar project but this one when he took over.)

The PIC was very clearly a Job-esque product, right down to its clean, gunmetal grey cubical design that is eerily reminiscent of the original NeXT PCs Jobs also developed. The PIC originally cost $170,000 when it debuted in 1987. Later versions of the PIC retailed for a mere $30,000, though that price could jump tenfold if you included the world’s first RAID system, which offered a then-radical 3GiB storage capacity. The intended markets for the device weren’t movie studios, but aerospace and medical organizations that relied on highly detailed 3D modelling.

To little surprise, the PIC was a total commercial flop, selling less than 500 units during its entire production life. Fortunately, the aforementioned John Lasseter developed a few promotional computer animations to demonstrate the power of the product. Principal among these was the famous Luxo Jr. short, which gave Pixar its mascot and wowed animation festival observers who saw it. This led to Pixar creating computer-animated commercials, which in turn led to a three-picture deal with Disney to produce some straight-to-video computer-animated movies.

The first of those films was a little classic called Toy Story, which proved too good not to put into theaters. The rest, as they say is, history. (Or, for bemused Apple critics who note that Pixar’s marketing arm outperformed its manufacturing division, history repeating itself.)

Gasp! Jessica Lowndes

Paul Wilson for the conservative media watchdog group Newsbusters is pretty upset over someone wishing they were gay:

Jessica Lowndes, an actress on the CW show ”90210,” is trying to break into the music world – by releasing a song where she ridiculously poses as a straight woman wishing she were gay.

Lowndes released a single with the catchy title ”I Wish I Was Gay,” about a woman reacting to being cheated on by her boyfriend. Lowdnes repeats the words ”I wish I was gay,” and expresses a desire to ”escape those boys.” The song also bizarrely suggests that lesbians are more faithful than straight guys, a claim even gay site Queerty mocked.

The music video features a provocatively dressed Lowndes teasing a man and flirting with her backup dancers before confronting him with his infidelity, shaving his legs and smearing his face with lipstick.

Lowndes’ single is part of a larger trend of gay themes being used in contemporary music. The Huffington Post notes that “gay themes are quickly becoming a ubiquitous element of contemporary pop music.”

Female musicians in particular are promoting homosexuality and bisexual behavior. Pop star Lady Gaga is notorious for her advocacy of homosexuality, and included homosexual themes in songs such as ”Born This Way.” Singer Katy Perry explored bisexual themes with her 2008 song ”I Kissed a Girl.” X Factor competitor Simone Battle recently released a song and music video titled “He Likes Boys,” which expressed a girl’s unrequited desire for gay guys.

While the trend of increasing homosexuality in pop songs is certainly worrisome, Lowndes’ latest propaganda effort would probably draw more of a following if her singing were competent. After listening to Lowndes’ lesbian fantasy, most listeners would probably echo the sentiments of one reviewer, who declared: ”I wish I was deaf.”

Noodle Ring tells you how much to make for how many are eating

Click the dial to how many people are eating and it shows you the amount of noodles to make???? What sorcery is this!? I must get one of these! I am constantly making the wrong amounts of spaghettizez…

Idk what I’m more fascinated by: the fact that theres a product sales place called JosephJoseph or that they sell this simple but wonderful item.

Plus, I really like the camera shutter slash futuristic electronic door opening. If I bought this product I would constantly look through it and pretend my spaghetti was James Bond while humming the tune and splashing tomato sauce on it at the appropriate musical cue. I also think it goes without saying that I’d have to to put my d#ck through it so I could see how many people it feeds. Naturally.

This innovative, compact spaghetti measure provides an adjustable portion guide for 1-4 servings. Simply slide the small lever around the side of the disc, opening the camera-style aperture to the required portion size. Made from high quality polypropylene, its available in a variety of colours.

You know it’s a UK product cuz of the way they spelled “colors”. Psh. Damn You K’ers for your superior noodle preparing technology…

UPDATE: It took me years into my adult life to work up the chemistry skills to boil water in order to make noodles so I havent made it to making my own rice at home yet, but I imagine the same problem would persist. So while I can’t claim I have this issue yet, the following is still lulzy. A viewer sent me this:
