Sarah Palin not running for President

Oh, you mean likve i’ve been saying for 3 years? really now? you dont say… It’s alsmost as if… all the signs I kept constantly pointing out that she had no interest in running and would not run were… 100% accurate? really? could it be?

So wait… you’re saying the reason Sarah Palin didnt finish her 1st term as Governor of Alaska and chose instead to become a book author and media personality on a reality show and as a commentator on cable news was NOT so she could run for president??

You’re saying that her bus tour across the nation was just a cross country media tour by a media personality and her schedule of doing no campaiging or political activism at these stops WASN’T in preperation so she could run for president??

Gosh, it’s almost as if when she never expressed any interest in running for president for the past 3 years, she was… being honest. weird.
/endofsarcasm4dummies

Here’s the audio of her on the Mark Levin radio show making the announcement.
Here’s the statement:

October 5, 2011
Wasilla, Alaska
After much prayer and serious consideration, I have decided that I will not be seeking the 2012 GOP nomination for President of the United States. As always, my family comes first and obviously Todd and I put great consideration into family life before making this decision. When we serve, we devote ourselves to God, family and country. My decision maintains this order.

My decision is based upon a review of what common sense Conservatives and Independents have accomplished, especially over the last year. I believe that at this time I can be more effective in a decisive role to help elect other true public servants to office – from the nation’s governors to Congressional seats and the Presidency. We need to continue to actively and aggressively help those who will stop the “fundamental transformation” of our nation and instead seek the restoration of our greatness, our goodness and our constitutional republic based on the rule of law.

From the bottom of my heart I thank those who have supported me and defended my record throughout the years, and encouraged me to run for President. Know that by working together we can bring this country back – and as I’ve always said, one doesn’t need a title to help do it.

I will continue driving the discussion for freedom and free markets, including in the race for President where our candidates must embrace immediate action toward energy independence through domestic resource developments of conventional energy sources, along with renewables. We must reduce tax burdens and onerous regulations that kill American industry, and our candidates must always push to minimize government to strengthen the economy and allow the private sector to create jobs.

Those will be our priorities so Americans can be confident that a smaller, smarter government that is truly of the people, by the people, and for the people can better serve this most exceptional nation.

In the coming weeks I will help coordinate strategies to assist in replacing the President, re-taking the Senate, and maintaining the House.

Thank you again for all your support. Let’s unite to restore this country!

God bless America.

Sarah Palin is Not and will Not Run for President

Each month since January 2008 I keep thinking *this* will be the month that people come to their senses and admit or realize that former Governor of Alaska and failed Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin has no desire to be President of the United States and you are all creepy fantasy minded weirdos for pretending otherwise.

This is a more plausible explanation of what is going on with her bus tour than “it’s because she’s running for president”

Andrew Sullivan, a left wing blogger and columnist who has been obsessed with Palin from the beginning (focusing a great deal on a conspiracy theory that her son Trig is not actually her baby) showed the same Palin-fog view of her career in politics as her right wing fans regularly exhibit. Sullivan said on the Chris Matthews show that Palin is running for president and has been running since the 2008 election and that “there is no reason to believe” she isn’t doing so.

He got it exactly wrong.

There is no reason to believe she is running, there is no reason to believe she would run. and I maintain my painfully obvious prediction: that she WILL. NOT. RUN.

All of you people are blind or dishonest. You’re either deluding yourself over unrealistic hope that she’ll run for an office she’s shown literally no interest in, ever (including recent and current comments). The only time she ever talks about running is when answering constant questions about it, completely drummed up by the media. Her answer is always that she’s not opposed to it if she was needed, explaining that if no other candidates espouse her Tea Party esque principals then she would fill that gap for the sake of the country or whatever. She’s not needed and she won’t be, so why do any of you fool yourself into believing or lie to others to get them to believe that she wants to be president? She doesn’t. She’s Trump-ing you morons. Wake UP already… gad…

The Daily Show got it wrong too… sigh

“Palins Alaska” is a Reality Show. Apologize

I’m thinking of making this a regular feature. another one that comes to mind is Palins reality show. liberals mocked her for coming out with one and camp Palin called it a type of documentary and conservatives went all BOOYA in the libs face – except, then the show premiered… and its a friggin reality show. line for line. by definition in format, appearance and film structure: its a REALITY SHOW. Apologize.

Outrage!: Sarah Palin might have been to close to non-dangerous bears!

This clip of Sarah Palin in a boat near bears hit the web weeks ago but some group finally got around to finding something to freak out about over it. When I heard about this at first it sounded like Sarahcuda jumped on a grizzly and rode it like a pony with baby Trigg spinning on one finger like a Globetrotters basketball. Instead it turns out to be a big over reaction just to complain about something.

The Guardian reports that the director of the Alaska Wildlife Alliance thinks Palin broke the rules of Wolverine Creek which is a place in Alaska where bears and humans alike go fishing.

Large brown bears gather in Wolverine Creek because the fishing is so easy and the animals have, in the process, become a tourist spectacle. But Toppenberg warned that by behaving in an apparently irreverent manner, Palin was doing nothing to foster responsibility among visitors. “She is encouraging the violation of important guidelines that allows tourism to flourish in Alaska. She is inviting future problems with the tourism industry and, in particular, the bear-viewing industry,” he said.

This guy is being a total douche. He calls Palins actions a “travesty”. The fuck? She wasn’t throwing rocks at the god damn cubs – She drifts in their direction slowly and with caution, leaves them alone, shows fear and respect for the possible danger and then leaves.

Making this even more bizarre though is that the criticism is not that she was being dangerous…

But this enraged Toppenberg. “She implies that she is somehow in danger or being brave. That’s complete nonsense,” he said. “Wolverine Creek is the one place in Alaska where the bears are tolerant and completely habituated to the presence of people and boats. But the guidelines are there for a reason.”

If this is worthy of outrage for you, you need to get a friggin life. If this is the best fuel you’re using to make an anti-Palin case you fail even harder because she’s such a font of legit criticism. Do you not read her Twitter or Facebook or watch her on Fox News? She’s an endless stream of bullseye’s to make news over and gain points for your side (or just lower hers) on and you’re wasting your time on criticism like “she’s too damn enthusiastic about nature”? *facepalm* – You’re doing it wrong…

Be scared that she might run for president, not that she might have broken a “spirit of the law” rule concerning domesticated wildlife that caused no harm.

Another reason I think jumping on this may be ill-advised is that Palin is constantly trolling… she dont just bait fish hooks.. on Facebook, on Twitter, on Fox News – she is ALWAYS throwing something out there that looks like its crazystupidwrong and then owns everyone who jumped on it before all the facts were in. this allows her more controversial comments to slip under the radar. so i wouldnt be surprised if this episode has a buttload of “bears are dangerous” type of PSA warnings and crap in it and she’s gonna lean back smugly over the hype. I dont wanna play that game.

Sarah Palins Alaska on TLC is a Reality Show

When it was first leaked that Sarah Palin was in negotiations to do a show on The Learning Channel, reports calling it a “reality show” were rebutted with corrections stating it was a documentary style expose of Alaska, not a reality show, you Lamestream Media dumbdumbs.

Well, the show has premiered now…and.. it’s a reality show.

The quirky drama accenting music, the edits, the cameras in their house, the contrived “made for tv” activities, the sit-downs with the camera to react to events it had previously captured – this is the definitional formula of what a Reality Show is. I want apologies. I demand retractions, updates and edits from all those who originally reported the dubious denial that this show was something other than a Palin family version of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

And Now An Important Piece on Sarah Palins Boobs

Getting to the bottom of the issues that really affect the country and the world: investigating the accusation that a former politician and present commentator had breast implants since her rack looks bigger in one picture than it does in another from several years ago before she had her most recent child (people familiar with body changes pertaining to pregnancy found the difference less suspicious).

On Fox News, Greta Van Susteren actually addressed the buzz from the blogs and actually asked Palin if she had implants. Which I have mixed feelings about. On the one hand, this is wildly stupid, but on the other, if you have a guest on your show who is the subject of wildly stupid commentary you have an obligation to your viewers to create entertaining and informative content which usually consists of addressing wildly stupid commentary surrounding that guest. It’s more a sign of the emerging prominence of foolish focal points leaking into areas of otherwise serious journalism and current event commentary than it is anything Greta did wrong but it’s still bizarre to the point where even Palin has to acknowledge as much by prefacing her answer to the question with a “bless your heart” style sugar coated way of saying “I can’t believe you actually just said that you crazy b*tch”….

“Clean up and save a whale or something instead of reporting on such stupid things like that”.

Bill O’Reilly’s comment after playing the clip is my reaction exactly. We are now at a place in news media where anchors are delivering hard questions such as “Boob job. Did you have one??”. Oy…

Palin on the “what do you read” Couric question

Just admit it: “what do you read?” is a stupid question and Palins answer didn’t mean shit. Why would you answer that question? You know it’s just going to be picked apart and unfairly scrutinized, and all the sources you DONT name will be mentioned. So wtf? “I read the same shit you do” (paraphrase) is a perfectly legit answer.

Shameless backstabber laments friends stabbing his back

levi-gawkerYoung Alaskan self described redneck Levi Johnston entered the public stage when his unprotected sex with his girlfriend resulted in that one thing that unprotected sex results in. I forget what its called, but its the thing when you put your sperm into a girl and she gets all fat n stuff afterward? you know what I’m talking about? anyway, a baby was produced out of that and the reason it was a news making event was because the girl he knocked up was the Governor of Alaska’s daughter at a time when said Governor was running as Vice President of the united states. If you’re confused what is so newsworthy about a potential Vice Presidents child engaging in bad behavior then knowing that we’re talking about Republicans should clear that up for you.

During the knock-up news, they were together and engaged (with still no sign that they were threatened or forced into said engagement) and Levi was saying nice things about Sarah Palin and the Palin family at large. Then he realized he could get WAY more attention if he did the opposite, so he did. Now he’s doing photoshoots that may or may not include his famous baby-making penis, on red carpets with young popular hotties at the top of their game such as Kathy Griffin and he’s got a book deal claiming to “tell all” about the Palins dirty little secrets that he knows (because banging someones daughter obviously results in a wealth of insider-knowledge about her parents. clearly).

Now we learn that poor Levi has been victim, er, to exactly the kind of sell-out betrayal he’s doing to the Palins. Just look at this lamenting in an article without a hint of irony:

A busboy came by and filled our glasses. He and Levi knew each other from before Levi got famous. They exchanged heys. He told Levi that he tried to call, but that his number didn’t work. Levi told him that he has to change his number a lot. As the boy walked away, I caught something a little sad in Levi’s expression. A lot of friends have sold him out, giving details about his life to reporters, Rex told me. I asked Levi about it.

I lost all the friends that are trying to do that. I let ’em go a long time ago,” he said. “I know which ones I can trust now.”

Ya, it’s hard to know who you can trust these days eh Leev’s? People who you thought were your friends and then all of a sudden go public with details about your personal lives? What is this world coming to? You trust people and open your life up to them and as soon as they realize there may be money and fame in revealing “secrets” about you they pull a 180 and sell you out?

Dear Palin 2012 commentators: WTF is wrong with you?

I’m sick of hearing talk about Sarah Palin running for president in 2012 against Obama in any context, given that there is no evidence whatsoever that this will happen. Speculation by reporters, declarations of fact by supporters, analysts combing over her resignation as Governor of Alaska and every detail extending from it about what it means for her presidential candidacy – what the fkk are you guys talking about??

Palin has never expressed interest, ambition or a drive for the presidency, ever. John McCain plucked her out of obscurity to join his ticket in 2008 and she accepted and that’s it. She doesn’t have the experience, media presence, or ambition to run for president and she probably never will but she DEFINITELY will not in 2012. I am 100% sure of this and will take any bets against anyone who wants to bet me because this is as wishful-thinking-blindness on the part of her fans as I have ever seen.
